Maciej Kucia is a Polish-born photographer based in Tokyo, Japan, known for his emotive portrait and fashion photography, characterized by a sophisticated use of color and light. He shot for magazines such as GQ Japan, Vogue Japan, Vogue Hong Kong, Rolling Stone Japan, ROCKIN’ON Numero Tokyo, Vanity Fair, among others.
His commercial clients include brands like BVLGARI, DIOR, Yohji Yamamoto and SONY.
Maciej Kucia has collaborated with some of Japan’s most prominent musicians, including The Yellow Monkey, Utada Hikaru, Gen Hoshino, Hisaishi Joe, LUNA SEA, and GLAY, creating visuals that complement their music.
